People who know her say she’s good -- very good, but Justine likes to keep that on the “DL” because she’s cool like that. Her manner will sneak up on you. Like when she stepped up on the karaoke stage and nailed Mariah Carey’s “Always be my baby” on her first try... the same night her boyfriend had called it quits on her. Her slack-jawed ex- was floored and Justine was out the door.
Yes, she’ll surprise you. Just when you think you have her pegged -- like when she went to the Fashion Institute in San Francisco -- Bam! She’s going to be a make up artist, right?
Mmmm... not exactly.
One year was enough for her to get what she needed and keep grooving. Don’t misread: she’s not giving up and moving on -- she’s continuing to grow, study and practice, practice, practice. And some of that practice helps her apply perfect touches of style and color to our Bar and Bat Mitzvah motivational crew.
Something else you should know: she’s just a wee bit competetive. This self-described “nice geek” has no problem taking on any dude in any PS3 RPG; Halo, SOCOM -- bring it! And her tomboy is in full effect when she rolls out with her guy friends to see the latest gore fest... after which she’ll unabashedly take in the latest chick flick. 27 Dresses. Notting Hill. My Best Friend’s Wedding. Seriously. She can’t get enough of those either.
