Elisa
-- Momma wants to see you smile
She wants you to have a good time -- a really good time. The
music is part of it, yes. The dancing is key, of course. But more than those
things, it's the atmosphere -- the feel if you will -- that matters to Elisa.
She wants you relaxed, knowing everything is handled so all you have to do is
show up and have fun. Simply put, she says, "It's not my show -- it's theirs".
She's at her happiest when things seem to just fall into place (that's her
behind the curtain playing the part of Oz). It's also part of the reason she's
now a wedding coordinator in her "free" time. That is, time when she's not
tending to her baby boy, Andrew.
If baby Andrew is screaming now there's a good reason. His mom
was still spinning CD's at a company party just 6 weeks before he was born!
This is part of her "yes-I-can" attitude that was first witnessed by Denon
& Doyle over 10 years ago. We were recruiting DJ's. At the time, we were
looking for male DJ's as the female DJ's we had spoken with told us the heavy
equipment we had was a bit cumbersome. Elisa begged to differ and has proven
herself more than capable.
Her success may have something to do with her work as a personal
fitness trainer. It may also have something to do with her love of the outdoors
-- not so much as a spectator, either. She's not just out there getting muddy;
she's running a veritable kid's camp with one primary focus: everyone has fun.
That's how Momma runs things.
