His disco set in particular was a real hit. After attending a number of parties, you'd think that people (both kids and adults) would start to get a bit jaded or bored with the format, but I didn't hear any such comments, largely thanks to Tyrone. He had a nice way with everyone. He checked in with me periodically and was very responsive. I couldn't have asked for anything more. If I had to choose the ideal emcee for Bernie's party, I would have chosen Tyrone. The most important thing that he did was to connect with Bernie and make him comfortable and excited about his party. Let me spend a few minutes singing Sasha's praises as well. We had seen
Sasha at another Bar Mitzvah party and she really shone there. We requested her
specifically and were excited that you were able to honor our request. She more
than lived up to our expectations. Several of our guests commented on how great
she was, what nice energy she had and what a terrific dancer she is. What I
liked is that she's an accomplished dancer but wasn't showy or putting on a
performance - she was doing her job which was to get people participating and
comfortable being on the dance floor. She's terrific." "The party Saturday night could not have been better -- everyone (from
the kids to our adult friends to our relatives old and young) thought it was
the best party they have ever attended. No one can stop talking about how
wonderful it was. And a large part of that was Mark Addington and his crew.
They were fabulous! Mark met with me and my son for a long time (it was clearly
more than an hour) several weeks ago and asked all kinds of questions about
what we wanted in the party. We knew we wanted lots of games and activities
because this was the first Bar Mitzvah for most of the kids ever attended and

Bat Mitzvahed and people are calling me and asking who you guys were. On Monday
morning I got an e-mail from one of Rebecca's classmates asking me who you guys

cocktail hour, the kids magically disappeared, and when we adults arrived in
the social hall, they were in full swing. It wasn't too loud for anyone, none
of the sound-sensitive kids needed earplugs. Most of the kids were up and
dancing much of the time. They were terrific at organizing everything. The kids
at Isaiah just LOVE Ellis, I suspect he will get many more requests throughout
the year. Grace and Kelsey were a great addition, they had boundless energy. I
am forwarding your request for feedback to my friend whose son has been
depressed/off kilter for several months. This boy was dancing nearly the whole
time, she said it was the best day that he's had in nearly a year! I hope she

"I have so many accolades to offer you and your team, it's hard to mention them all, yet I will attempt too.
Firstly, Mark is absolutely unbelievable. My first communication to him about a possible change of venue was on Friday afternoon. We discussed that the "show must go on", but we just didn't know where. When we spoke again on Saturday at 1:00 and again hourly until about 3:30, when we officially concluded the new location was to be Max's Opera Cafe in Burlingame. I arrived at 4;00 pm, to meet with the restaurant owner to go over the minor details of creating a bar mitzvah party in 4 hours...and Mark had already found the location to set up and was well on his way to constructing your trellis structure.
Your team members never once even mentioned the imposition we created from a different venue, further distance to travel and less time to make it happen. Yet, everything went so smoothly, it looked like the party was always meant to be just as it was.
Furthermore, we know our next Bar Mitzvah party with you, for our younger son in 2 years, will be "a piece of cake". Once again, our most heart felt thanks to your entire team.

I was quite happy with the way AJ timed the change in music. Just about the time the kids were whining about the type of music being played, AJ switched to their stuff and all of the adults were laughing at how all of the kids went out on the dance floor like a swarm of bees. Because of the rain, there was a delay in the arrival of guests and it postponed the commencement of the serving of the dinner. "I meant to email my utmost praise, and no criticism (rare for me) earlier, but I had family in town until today. Patrick was absolutely sensational!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He kept the crowd hopping all night, and pulled out all of the stops in the last hour or so. My guests never left the dance floor! Everyone remarked that they had such a blast. That is exactly what I wanted... nonstop fun on the dance floor. In fact, I never even ate the hot dogs, salads, ice cream sundaes or popcorn, or visited the ladies' room, because I didn't want to miss even one song. It was the best sock hop ever.
Patrick brought his A game. He kept the sock hop well paced, and really knew the crowd. We enjoyed his selection of songs, and cadence. The bubblegum game, and volleyball, and limbo, and balloon game were pure childlike fun fun fun! I couldn't have imagined a better DJ. My guests did inquire as to where I found the DJ, so you know how popular Patrick was at the hop!
Your dancers were also top-notch. They were complimented by my guests as well. They added the extra touch, and ambience. They kept everyone entertained all night. Even when the party was just getting started, and early guests were filtering in, taking photos, and greeting the bday girl, they were up there on stage dancing, and setting the mood. Each was terrific, and I'm glad we had AJ! Sasha also had a ton of energy!!!!
So, what a hit. What a night!!!! Please pass this praise onto Patrick and the dancers. They really made my 50th bday a wonderful one! Well, with the exception of my friend Laurie from L.A. She just could not pull herself away from the action on the dance floor. She had an absolute blast and has aspirations of becoming a D and D dancer when she (finally) grows up. I especially appreciated the way you handled the Cal game going on in the TV room. And also how you handled the last 30 minutes of the party, closing down the bar/chocolate fountain room. This drew the kids in and kept the party engaging. Your management was brilliant. The dancers were awesome; they were exactly what I was hoping for. Everyone was professional and talented beyond my expectations. And Emily loved how inclusive you made it all feel by teaching the moves to all the group dances. I loved how at the beginning of the party the kids came from different aspects of Emily's life; the school kids, the Temple kids, the cousins, the neighbor kids. But by 8 pm they were just one big mass of dancing adolescents. That's the sign of a great party. And I am so glad we added the get-flipped and the dance cubes. They gave that extra punch I was looking for.
Well, it is over. I told Lillian (our younger daughter) that yesterday marks the first day of planning for her Bat Mitzvah. We will be in touch soon to make arrangements for another D and D awesome event."

for our son David's Bar Mitzvah 4 years ago, and he was wonderful then, so we
had specifically requested him for Jessica's event. He has matured a bit in the
intervening years, so if possible, he was even better than before. He was a
real professional from start to finish, and a complete pleasure to deal with.
Both Jessica and I felt that he listened really carefully to what we wanted,
and gave us good suggestions when we weren't sure what we wanted. Every detail
was covered, from Jessica's entrance with appropriate music all the way up to
the last dance. One thing that struck me about Mark was his warmth and
enthusiasm for people. He was excited to see a few kids whose Bar Mitzvahs he
had done in the past, and made sure to give those kids a big greeting. He came
and told me how happy he was to see those kids. He also came over at one point
and told me that he knows my son's girlfriend, who works in the daycare center
where his daughter goes. The human connection is obviously very important to
him, and that's part of why he is so good at what he does. He loves his work,
and it shows. We all enjoyed him thoroughly. All the kids (and adults) really
warmed to him, which made the games and dancing go really well. The bubblewrap
game was especially hilarious. I didn't get a chance to talk to Tyler, but he
also did a very good job, quietly and professionally making sure all the right
music was played at the right time. The candle lighting ceremony went off
without a hitch, and everybody liked the music we had picked for them. Please
feel free to use this as a letter of reference if any future customers want to
know what your prior customers think of your company's service. We could not
have been more pleased with Denon & Doyle, and if we have another event in
the future that could use a DJ, we will definitely give you a call."
"We were very happy with Solomon, Brian and Jayne. They were
very creative and fun! My son, Joe, absolutely loved them, he wanted to make
sure he had all of their names correct and he kept going on about how great
they were. The party ran smoothly and they were able to keep the adults and the
kids happy. Solomon's games were fun and creative. He had to deal with very
large inflatable swords and came up with a great game/dance that kept the
swords under control for a little while! We were very happy and very

started the hoola hoop contest the kids were totally engaged (all ages) the
prizes were awesome and I had many friends say that the motivators and the
D.J.were worth every penny. I 100% agree. I felt good that I didn't need a lot
of extras (which I have found in other Bar Mitzvahs to pull the kids in lots of
different directions instead of all just being together) not only did the kids
love the whole experience but so did the adults. The music choices were perfect
and Mark made my son smile the whole night. (for a shy quiet kid, it could not
have been better. He kept him in the spot light and he was beaming). I booked
far in advance and I am so glad I got the group of entertainers that I did. I

A few of the boys in Micaela's B'nei Mitzvah class that are not dancers were
getting their grove on for the first time ever! Micaela said that even some of
the professional party goers were having an extra special good time trying to
be "Mark's" and hogging the microphone. There were kids from different
communities that Micaela is involved with and kids in a wide age range. Many of
these kids had never been to such a fun kid centered party. They had the time
of their life! I loved the energy that was generated by the Denon & Doyle
team. Mark's timing was perfect and consequently the whole event went very very
smoothly. It certainly helped that I have a couple of fun loving kids that
could not stop dancing and clowning around! (Ask Mark about my son Jared!) We
are very grateful to Mark and the team for making our party such a success.
We'll be calling you for Jared's Bar Mitzvah party (in 2010) as soon as we get
